Planet CCRMA is a collection of software packages that you can add to a computer running Fedora 8, 9 or 10, or CentOS 5 to transform it into an audio/video oriented workstation. It’s supported by Stanford University since 2001.
Root password is fedora, user login is user ans user password is fedora.

About real-time audio
For real professional work with audio on Linux is needed JACK audioserver (with realtime support) . But it’s hard to start JACK in a virtual machine with realtime priority. So if you want just to try Planet CCRMA, use ALSA.
